The University of Denver is a non-profit educational corporation founded in 1864.  The legal name of the University of Denver is Colorado Seminary, which will always be used on contracts, quotes, or other legal documents. 

The preferred naming convention on legal agreements is "Colorado Seminary which owns and operates the University of Denver and its __________ Department."  For questions regarding purchasing, contracts, or vendor information please start a new support ticket.
